Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Phoenix Suns fans and fans across the country. If youe counting, that Chris Paul in fourth place making it two Suns among the top four most exciting players remaining in the playoffs. This is a good thing https://www.phoenixfanstoreonline.com/Abdel_Nader_Hoodie-37, considering TV ratings are exploding all over the country. There more fans watching these playoffs so far than have watched the NBA in a long long time. And now that the Suns are national TV every game ABC, TNT or ESPN the rest of the way you will start to see the Suns as one of the ratings darlings for years to come Devin Booker Pillow Cover, I expect. Chris Paul was always at that level, and now Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are rising as well. With Booker leading the way, more than three-fourths of fans picked the Suns to win the Western Conference Finals. The vote came in before Phoenix won Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers. The confidence in Phoenix doesn end after the WCF. A majority of national fans, 53 percent, believe the Suns are going to win it all. The Milwaukee Bucks earned the second highest percent of the vote, with 33 percent. Before they reach the finals, Milwaukee will need to beat the Hawks, which a vast majority of fans expect. Who ready for a Suns vs. Bucks Finals!!To vote in the Reacts surveys and have your voice heard each week Langston Galloway Pet Jersey,

Tough TimesWith Wilson Chandler being suspended for a third of the season (25 games) and https://www.brooklynfanstoreonline.com/Greivis_Vasquez_Flag-91, worse, Rodions Kurucs being arrested, handcuffed and arraigned on domestic assault charges, this has not been a good week for your Brooklyn Nets. The off-season, which been, in Frank Isola words, nce-in-a-lifetime was tarnished . . . at least. A lot of questions remain unresolved about the arrest and at this point, as wee tweeted, we hope that Rodi and his girl friend get all the help they need. The court case in the People vs. Kurucs is unlikely to be resolved any time soon. There are issues upon issues to be dealt with as sports lawyer Michael McCann wrote. So wel just have to wait and see. As for Chandler, you have to wonder if the Nets have made a decision yet on whether to keep him. While he has apologized to the team and his teammates, the Nets have made no comment on the suspension . . . and according to reports are thinking about adding Carmelo Anthony or Joe Johnson. That combination can be a good sign for Chandler, who is coming off an injury and is 32 years old. Decisions, decisions, decisionsThe announcement that Matt Riccardi will replace Trajan Langdon as GM of the Long Island Nets and Shaun Fein will replace Will Weaver as head coach had been expected. Riccardi also has been named the Nets director of scouting. That takes care of the G League but there are still a number of jobs left to fill. The Nets need to sign a second two-way player. Henry Ellenson, the 22-year-old ex-Piston and ex-Knick big, got one of the two slots. No idea who will get the other. As wee noted, the Nets waited until September 17 of last year to sign Alan WIlliams to the second two-way. Besides, there are still a number of teams who, like the Nets, have yet to sign both of their two-ways. Brooklyn also has two training camp invites open. Deng Adel, the 6 7 South Sudanese forward by way of Australia, has been signed to an Exhibit 10 deal which will permit the Nets to hold on to his G League rights if and when he cut from training camp. Again, no idea who gets the remaining jobs. There also the future of Jaylen Hands, the UCLA point guard who the Nets drafted at No. 56 but has not signed yet. Not signing Hands at this point suggests that Hands, who all of 20 years old Drazen Petrovic Pillow Cover, may spend this year overseas, becoming the Nets sixth stash. Hands going overseas would not be without precedent. Nigel Williams-Goss of the Jazz was drafted by Utah at No. 55 in the 2017 NBA Draft, then spent two years playing in Europe before signing a contract with the Jazz in July. We anticipate one of the Nets next announcements will feature the names of their two new assistant coaches, replacements for Chris Fleming and Pablo Prigioni. They were hired away by the Bulls and Timberwolves respectively. Again, no word of whol be hired for those jobs Brooklyn Nets Custom Pillow Cover. It been reported that Ryan Forehan-Kelly has been promoted from assistant coach in Long Island to player development coordinator with Brooklyn. That hasn officially been announced yet either. No word, at least officially, on two other reported additions to the basketball operations staff. J. R. Holden is the Nets new director of player personnel, Sportando reported a month ago. Holden, who had a long career in Europe, including nine with Mikhail Prokhorov CSKA Moscow, has been an overseas scout for the Pistons and 76ers. Also, according to his LinkedIn profiles, Daniel Jones, another Aussie, is the Nets Physical Performance Coach, a new position, and Rohan Jaitley has been added to the analytics team Julius Erving Hoodie. Jaitley had been an analytics intern with the Suns. We expect there will be other additions, promotions etc. revealed in the next few weeks. Another date to keep in mind: September 19. That the opening day of the two-day NBA Board of Governors meeting at which the sale of the Nets to Joe Tsai will be approved. The sale of Barclays Center should close around then as well. Tsai has been very respectful of Mikhail Prokhorov during this Long interim between when he bought 49 percent of the team from the Russian oligarch a little more than a year ago. It always been Prokhorov team for him and his associates. Now, with the deal finalized, expect Tsai to move quickly on putting his stamp on the organization. And no, we don expect any changes on the basketball side. Tsai knows to leave a good thing alone. Media DayThe Nets Media Day is set for September 27, we are told. That also the first official day of practice. The Nets and other teams headed overseas in preseason get an early start. Greg Logan of Newsday tweeted Saturday the Sean Marks and Kenny Atkinson will hold their pre-season press conference on September 24. They last spoke to the press in April, although Sean Marks introduced Nicolas Claxton and Jaylen Hands to the media in late June just after the Draft and just before free agency. A lot has happened since. So, although the Nets didn hold a press conference after signing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan back in July, we assume all three will be available on Media Day. Why didn the Nets introduce their big free agent class back in July It certainly possible that they didn want to interrupt KD recovery from Achilles surgery, which took place June 12. Now, with him providing regular updates on his condition via Instagram, that got to be less of a concern. Also, Durant has said hel be headed back to New York sometime this month to continue his rehab, both at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he underwent the knife and at the HSS Training Center. We have to think the Nets will stream the Marks-Atkinson press conference and YES Network will do something on Media Day https://www.brooklynfanstoreonline.com/Landry_Shamet_Pet_Jersey-128. . . if not before . . . with the big free agents. First question gotta be about the Nets chances for a championship. . . THIS season. Housing developmentsSpencer Dinwiddie, from what we can tell, hasn yet confirmed that he has contracted to buy a penthouse In the still unfinished Brooklyn Point, just up Flatbush Avenue from Barclays Center. It will be Brooklyn tallest building at 720 feet when complete. We expressed some skepticism about the report in the Post, noting that other real estate developments have tried to create buzz by claiming anonymously that celebrities are moving in. But we have heard that Kyrie Irving will have a pied-a-terre in Brooklyn. He famously bought a house in South Orange, N. J. just before free agency and there was some suggestion that commuting from there to the HSS Training Center would be a grind . . . the kind of grind the Nets would like their players to avoid. So it should come as no surprise that he looking for something closer in Brooklyn. Pied-a-terre sounds so much better than crash pad. Again, we have no confirmation (but that this time of year, we are desperate for news, particularly good news. )Final NoteIs there anything better than a wall banner featuring the WojBomb that announced the Nets lean Sweep back on June 30 We think not. New flag in my apartment looks fire Still hard to believe this happened I can wait for the season NetsNation Congrats to Justin Gakobe!

On Friday, the Magic nearly broke their franchise record for threes in a game https://www.storeorlando.com/Tracy_Mcgrady_Pet_Jersey-155. On Sunday, the Magic nearly allowed their opponent to break their franchise record for threes in a game. The Magic, whose 21 threes in a win over the Nets on Friday was two shy of the franchise record, allowed the Celtics to hit 23 threes, one shy of Boston franchise record, en route to a 112-96 loss. Early on, it was actually the Magic who picked up right where they left off on Friday, going 6-for-11 in the first quarter against the Celtics. A three by Aaron Gordon started an early 7-0 run that gave Orlando a 14-11 lead. Picking up right where he left off! The Magic made 6 of 11 attempts from deep in the quarter, shooting 43. 5 percent overall for a 31-27 lead. Jayson Tatum scored eight of the Celtics first 11 points and finished the first with 11 points, making all three of his attempts from deep. Jaylen Brown added eight points, knocking down a pair of threes, as the Celtics kept pace with the Magic from deep by making 6 of 13 attempts. The Celtics continued their efficient outside shooting in the second, going 5-for-12, while the Magic missed all five of their attempts from deep in the quarter and would be limited to just 17 points https://www.storeorlando.com/Hoodies-29. A pair of Tatum threes in the final minute pushed the Celtics lead to double digits and they went j to the break up 56-48. Tatum had 19 points at the half, shooting 5-for-7 from three. Brown added 14 points and made 4 of his 7 three-point attempts as the two led the Celtics to 44 percent shooting from deep in the half (11-for-25). Daniel Theis hit a three that capped a 10-0 Celtics run early in the third to increase their lead to 66-49. Gordon then followed with what was the Magic first three since the first quarter with 8:46 left in the third. The Celtics would continuing knocking down outside shots as their lead reached as many as 22 in the third. The Magic, trailing by 16 after the third, opened the fourth on a 10-2 run that pulled them within 91-83 with 9:27 to go. We're on a- run. The Celtics would go back up by 15 after Brown drained yet another three and then, off a missed Fournier three, Tatum beat the Magic defense down court for the easy dunk to make it 100-85. Only question from there was whether or not the Celtics would break their three-point record https://www.storeorlando.com/Jason_Williams_Hoodie-32, but they fell one short, going 23-for-54 (42. 6%). That was despite the best effort of Brown, who hit a career-high 10 threes on 18 attempts to finish with 34 point. Tatum added 23 points, going 5-for-8 from deep. It was the first time the Celtics held an opponent under 100 points since Feb. 16. Vucevic had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Magic. Ennis finished with a season-high 18 points in 21 minutes. Gordon and Fournier both struggled from the field after huge nights against the Nets on Friday. Fournier had 16 points on 6-for-19 shooting and Gordon had 12 points on 3-for-13 shooting as the Magic shot just 38. 1 percent, including 11-for-34 from three. The Magic return home for a back-to-back against the Nuggets and Suns, the final two games before the trade deadline.

Pitching philosophies are constantly changing it seems. Wee all well aware of how much the Pittsburgh Pirates loved to use the sinker during their playoff runs of the early 2010. Wee now seeing how much spin and the ability to measure it has led to teams adopting a certain thinking about how pitching should be done Mitch Williams Pillow Cover. Part of the previous coaching regime philosophy when it comes to pitching was that the higher the spin rate, the better. High spin rate is en vogue these days, meaning that part of what Gabe Kapler and Chris Young loved so much was to throw those four seam fastballs at, or near, the top of the zone, then follow with high spin curveballs down to either grab the bottom or cause batters to chase the pitch out of the strike zone. While that type of philosophy might be sound in its logic, there is also the idea that you need those types of pitchers in order to fully implement that thinking into the gameplanning. Zach Eflin might have something to say about that.Last year, Joe Girardi and Bryan Price came in and tried to teach to do what you do best. For someone like Eflin, that meant leaning into his best pitches more often, which explains the huge spike in sinker usage in 2020. It something so simple (use your best pitches more) that it makes one wonder why teams need to continue reinventing the game. Unfortunately, with Price departure, there may have been a fear that whoever was going to replace him would get away from that line of thinking Dave Hollins Pillow Cover. With Caleb Cotham coming in, the team looked like on the surface that they were leaning into the concepts of pitch design a little more since Cotham is a well known devotee to the methods and teaching of Driveline Baseball. It not as though Kapler and Young were not disciples of that group as well, but it felt that they were so devoted to one line of thinking, they were going to force their pitchers to adopt the igh four seam/high spin curveball thinking whether they were going to be successful or not https://www.philadelphiagearstore.com/Jt_Realmuto_Hoodie-116. Where we can already see a difference in them and in Cotham is in an idea so simple, so obvious, it sometime easy to forget, yet has led to success through their first four games (yes, yes, yes small sample size).Throw strikes! Throw them early and throw them often!Weird, right? This type of thinking, the basic tenet of pitching is something that has eluded the team for these past few years, but so far in the early going looks like it is manifesting itself in the games.

Ed note: as usual, my lateness in posting this makes one of our great authors look a little silly, but that is entirely on me. -TJTrevor Larnach is on a big-league roster. The Twins No. 3 prospect, if you are into those rankings, has hit two bombs in three games with the Triple-A Saint Paul Saints. Really fantastic to have them so close. Anyway, Larnach got the call after the ever-so-fragile Byron Buxton went on the IL with a hip strain. He not fragile, he fearless. I just very frustrated he is hurt. Back to Larnach, Twins drafted him 20th overall in the 2018 draft right after he finished his junior season, winning the College World Series at Oregon State. He grew up in California and is of Hawaiian descent. Watching Larnach in spring training, the lefty looks to be a great asset to the team. He has power but is able to put the ball in play to all fields. He makes solid contact. For a team that likes to live and die by the home run at times, he seems like a good fit. Or does heHere are his three games with the Saints:Game 1, 0-3, 1 BB, 1 SOGame 2, 2-5, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 3 SOGame 3, 1-5, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 4 SOThat a lot of strikeouts. Yes, this is an extremely small sample, but that a lot. Hitters gotta hit https://www.minnesotagearshop.com/Bailey_Ober_Hoodie-131. More than just bombs. e knows the strike zone, Rocco Baldelli said. Baldelli touts Larnach as a great lefty hitter, and he is. He proved that in college and the minors, but this small sample against AAA pitching is slightly concerning for a team that desperately needs a turnaround. It been a mess of a year for anyone in the minors. I will give him that. his has been the weirdest last year and a half. We showed up to spring training not sure what to expect. Then picking up in the triple-A season, we play night games, and we haven played night games in a really long time, Larnach said in a zoom call with media Friday. He said guys are still getting used to it again. Guys like Rob Refsnyderho is batting better than Larnach, is a corner outfielder, little more speed, has half the Ks and the same number of homeruns. Oh, also a lifetime MiLB/MLB BA of just under . 300. He could probably advance a guy from second in say https://www.minnesotagearshop.com/Tony_Oliva_Hoodie-83, the 10th inning of a game. Look, I know that not how baseball works, but sometimes the Chris Colabellos of the world give a team the spark they need. It will be exciting to see Larnach get his first AB in a big-league game though. He a competitor. will say some days were harder than others. When I fail a certain amount of times, I get very, very angry. I just can accept failure, he said. Good for him, gritty. Many on Twitter are already predicting big things, and I hope they come true. . . without too many whiffs. The Twins face the White Sox starting May 11. In that series, Larnach could face former Beaver teammate Nick Madrigal who is doing quite well at 2B for Chicago. coming for him, Larnach said when asked about potentially playing against his former teammate. He said they keep in touch. As of Friday night, the Twins have hit 43 home runs. Good enough to tie for top five in all of baseball. Twins are top 10 in runs and batting average, top four in doubles Jhoan Duran T-Shirt. Not horrible numbers. Not really numbers for the third-worst team in all of baseball. It because the Twins aren. Maybe by the numbers, but it won stick. Could Larnach help turn things around I don think so right now, but I hope so. Hey, he already 1-0 in a big-league uniform. Let keep it rollin .

Kolten Wong left Thursday game early for the Milwaukee Brewers, and before the game on Friday night, the club made a roster move to place him on the Injured List. Utilityman Pablo Reyes has taken his spot on the active roster for the time being. 2B Kolten Wong placed on on the 10-day injured list with a strained left oblique Mark Mathias Hoodie. INF/OF Pablo Reyes recalled from Triple-A Nashville. OF Derek Fisher sent to Triple-A Nashville on rehab assignment. The club expressed specific concern that this is the same injury and oblique that Wong suffered earlier in the year Tim Lopes Hoodie. At that time, the team and player pressed to get back more quickly, but this time Wong said he believes he may be laid up longer than he was in April. He told reporters he wants to make sure the issue is taken care of for sure this time, so that it doesn reoccur and he can be a major contributor during the second half of the season. Wong has already been one of the team most potent bats during his inaugural year in Milwaukee, hitting . 280/. 343/. 441 for a 114 OPS+ through 178 plate appearances. In Wong absence, the club will look to Luis Urias to make most of the starts at the keystone. He obviously made an outstanding play at second base in Friday night ballgame, robbing a possible base hit up the middle to keep Freddy Peralta no-hit bid intact. Urias may have fallen out of favor as the club everyday shortstop, but our own Jack Stern recently explored Luis improved power and he figures to be able to find plenty of at-bats around the infield if he continues to produce at a solid clip at the plate ( https://www.milwaukeefanstoreonline.com/Corey_Ray_Pillow_Cover-173. for a 99 OPS+ entering play today).
